Join us for a sacred Día de los Muertos sound bath experience dedicated to honoring our departed loved ones and nurturing our healing journey.

Immerse yourself in a profound and sacred evening that transcends time and space, as we come together to pay tribute to the souls of our departed loved ones. This unique Día de los Muertos sound bath ceremony offers a transformative experience where you can delve deep into your emotions, memories, and connections with those who have crossed over. Through the power of intention, guided meditation, and sound you will have the opportunity to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of your ancestors and cherished ones. Allow the soothing sounds to wash over you, bringing comfort, healing, and a sense of spiritual connection.

Event Highlights:

1. Community Ofrenda (Altar) - Bring a photo or memento that reminds you of your loved ones to place on our communal ofrenda. This altar will serve as a beautiful tribute, fostering a shared space of remembrance and love.

2. Journaling and Letter Writing - Reflect on your relationship with those you've lost by writing a letter to them. This intimate practice allows you to express your feelings, share stories, and release emotions in a meaningful way.

3. Guided Meditation - We’ll engage in a guided meditation designed to help you connect with the spirit of your loved ones in a sacred space. This practice will open your heart to receive their unconditional love, fostering a sense of peace and connection.

4. Reiki-Infused Harmonious Sound Bath - Experience the healing vibrations of a sound bath infused with Reiki energy. Using crystal bowls, chimes, and other instruments, we’ll create a soothing soundscape that promotes relaxation and healing. Reiki helps connect you to pure light and supports emotional release, allowing you to grieve while embracing the love that surrounds you.

 5. Community Sharing (Optional) - At the end of our journey, you’re welcome to share your thoughts or feelings in a supportive circle, if you feel called to do so.

What to Bring:

• A photo or memento for the ofrenda

• A journal and pen for writing

• Yoga mat and/or blanket for the sound bath. Pillows are optional

• Comfortable clothing

• An open heart and a willingness to connect

A little bit about Melinda:

Melinda Ramos is a death care worker who has experienced cumulative deaths within months of each other: her mother, her soul pug and grandmother. Experiencing the overwhelming emotions associated with grief, she felt as though she was drowning in her own sadness. A friend told her about a recent Reiki Healing of theirs and gave her Leslie’s information. After two years of Reiki Healing with Leslie, Melinda has learned to carry her grief and created a small business, Mourning Pug, from her loss. Art inspired by death care, pet loss and grief in the form of stickers, pins and totes. Apart from this, Melinda also founded The Pet Griever’s Club. The Pet Griever’s Club is a community of folks who gather together and honor their beloved pets through arts and crafts. 

Reiki has helped her release internalized emotions and has been a guide though her grief journey.

Join us in honoring those we love and allowing their memory to inspire healing within ourselves. Together, we’ll create a sacred space that embraces both grief and joy as we celebrate the cycle of life.
